Day 1: 1.5 hours | Wedging, wheel throwing, handbuilding

Day 2: 1.5 hours | Trimming

Day 3: 0.5 hours | Glazing

Description: This course introduces you to the basics of wheel throwing and walks you through the process from a bag of clay to a fired final piece. You will also learn to wedge your own clay, throw, trim and glaze. You will also learn to hand building a plate using a slab.

By the completion of this course you can sign up to become a member in the studio.

Intensive Wheel Course

Type of class: Wheel throwing + hand building (slabs)  

Outcome: Your choice two wheel thrown cup, bowl or vase + two hand built plates + pinched pot 

Day 1: 1.5 hours | Wedging, wheel throwing, hand building 

Day 2: 1.5 hours | Trimming

Day 3: 1.5 hours | Glazing, wheel throwing, pinching

Price: 800 QR

Description: This course introduces you to the basics of wheel throwing and walks you through the process from a bag of clay to a fired final piece. On the third day, you will have a recap of the entire process to further equip you to work on your own in the space as a member.
